EAGLE COURT OF HONOR

Sat. May 22, 2010, we held Hunter's Eagle Court of Honor. It turned out great. Steven had a vision of having flags surrounding the entire room, which looked awesome. We appreciate all the support of friends and family that came out to see Hunter. Here is a "few" pictures of the event.

Rag Quilt

So, here is a close up view. I haven't acutally tried to play any of the music yet, however, I just love how it turned out. The backing is ivory chenille, and it is the softest, fluffiest stuff I've seen. It washed up gorgeous!!

Here is the full view. I love it!

FABRIC!!

Right now, I am loving 'SEW' many cute fabrics out there. Check out Moda Fabrics. They have a great selection online. Here are a few of my favorites: Make Life, Frolic, Oz, Martinique, Eden. Two new ones coming out are Pure, and Bliss. It makes me want to redo one of my rooms in new fabric way too often. My scrapbook store started carrying these fabrics...dangerous! I signed up for a beginning quilt class for June. I'm making my 1st quilt out of Make Life fabric. What a wonderful way to start summer. My children are going swimming, I'm going quilting. I love it.

I am finishing my Rag Quilt and will post pictures when it's completed. I made it for a R.S. class I'm teaching.
